Scholarship Distribution–2025: SSS Advancing Education

Society for Social Service (SSS) organized the SSS-Naga Scholarship Award 2025 at the Foundation Office Auditorium, Tangail on 6 December 2025 at 3:00 pm. Continuing commitment to ensuring–poverty does not hinder talent, SSS has been providing scholarship since the very initiation. Under the initiative of SSS-Naga Scholarship, a total of 110 underprivileged and meritorious students received Tk. 3,85,000.

Mr. Mahbubul Haque Bhuiyan, Deputy Executive Director, SSS, inaugurated the event presided over by Mr. Kazi Zakerul Moula, Chairman, SSS. Mr. Satru Naga, Renowned Journalist and Writer of Japan attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Mr. Santosh Chandra Paul, Senior Director (Credit), SSS, Mr. Masaru Yamaguchi, Citizen of Japan  and Miss Hideko Sagisawa, Citizen of Japan, joined as special guests.

The ceremony began with the recitation from the Holy Quran and offering prayers for the speedy recovery of the Executive Director of SSS undergone medical treatment in Thailand. The speakers highlighted the Executive Director visionary leadership and philosophy in expanding education, expressed gratitude to Japanese sponsors, especially Mr. Satru Naga and encouraged students to focus on studies, discipline, and moral values in the event. They urged parents to guide children keeping away from harmful habits and promote positive social and ethical practices.

Concluding the event, the chair reaffirmed SSS continual commitment to supporting education for underprivileged students and wished all participants a bright and prosperous future.
