SSS provides medical equipments to Tangail General Hospital

For the treatment of COVID-19 affected patients, Society for Social Service (SSS) provided medical equipments and medicines worth of about 12 lac taka to Tangail General Hospital. SSS took the initiative as the COVID-19 situation worsens in Tangail.

 

For the distribution of the equipments and medicines, an informal ceremony was held on 11 July 2021 at the hospital compound. Al-hajj Md. Sanwar Hossain, Honorable MP (Tangail-5) was present there as chief guest whereas SM Sirajul Haque Alamgir, Mayor of Tangail Municipality, Md. Shahjahan Ansari, Chairman of Tangail Sadar Upazila Parishad, Civil Surgeon of Tangail, Santosh Chandra Paul, Director (Credit) and Diptimoy Barua, Deputy Director (Finance and Accounts) of SSS were present there as special guests.

 

Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman, Assistant Professor of Sheikh Hasina Medical College and Disaster Management Secretary of Tangail received the medical accessories.

The chief guest Al-hajj Md. Sanwar Hossain (MP) admired various social and welfare activities of SSS whole-heartedly. He said, SSS always stretches its helping hand to the people during disasters and pandemics. He thanked the executive director Abdul Hamid Bhuiyan for these welfare activities and promised to stay beside SSS always.

 

The medical accessories SSS provided to the hospital were:

 

  1. Lumis 150 VPAP ST-3 sets.
  2. N-95 Masks-300 pieces.
  3. Non-breathing Masks-300 pieces.
  4. Pulse Oxymeter-50 pieces.
  5. Ninavir 100mg-100 pieces.
  6. Meropenem 1gm-300 pieces.
  7. Moxaquine 400 mg-100 pieces.
  8. Cardinex 40iu- 300 pieces.

 

At that time, medical officers and staffs from different departments of the hospital, mass media and SSS were present.
