Workshop on Safe Pineapple Production and Marketing in Madhupur

A workshop on `safe pineapple production and marketing’ was held on 10 January 2022 in the auditorium of Madhupur Upazila Parishad of Tangail. Shamima Yesmin, UNO of Madhupur was present as chief guest at the workshop held under the project for improving the quality of pineapples produced in Madhupur. Madhupur is known as the Pineapple Capital of Bangladesh.

Agriculturist Al Mamun Russel, Upazila Agricultural Officer of Madupur presided over the workshop whereas Shakura Shammi, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer, Mohsin Reza, Zonal Manager (Tangail-2) of SSS, Abu Taher, Senior Program Manager of SSS, Pradeep Kumar Sarker, Program Manager and Coordinator (SEP), Habibur Rahman, General Secretary of Madhupur Press Club, Fazlul Haque, Chairperson of Idilpur Pineapple Business Samiti and so on spoke at the workshop.

Md. Mahiuddin Bulbul, Technical Officer of SEP facilitated the overall workshop.
